Ra.One Sequel: To be or not to be?
Ra.One, a film that made use of a massive budget, garnered mixed reactions from the audience.
Ever since Shah Rukh Khan came out with his sci-fi superhero flick in 2011, there’s been talk of a sequel to Ra.One. Anubhav Sinha, the director of the film, finally spills the beans.
“Shah Rukh and I keep talking about it. But I don’t know, nothing’s happening for now. It’s never easy to make a sci-fi film. But I know someday, over a drink, we will jump into it. It’s on his mind and it’s on my mind too,” he says.
Ra.One, a film that made use of a massive budget, garnered mixed reactions from the audience. With sci-fi and superhero films becoming increasingly popular in India, perhaps a sequel will do well. But it’s not in the pipeline at the moment.
“It’s not an easy movie to make, and we have to take that plunge. We keep meeting, we are good friends, and we have many things to discuss beyond films,” Sinha says.
