Mumbai: Mouni Roy who is all set to mark her Bollywood debut with Gold has gone ahead to express her enriching journey on working with Akshay Kumar and team.

The actress shared that, "It is a dream come true to do a movie with these superlative people."

While talking about Akshay Kumar, Mouni shares, "Akshay is not just a great co-actor but he is also a beautiful human being, He always use to keep the environment on the sets very light-hearted. There is no hierarchy on the set. He treats everyone equally, whether a person is the director of the film or a spot boy. But when it comes to scenes he is sincere in every single shot. When you see him in action you realize why he is where he is."

Starring Akshay Kumar, Mouni Roy, Kunal Kapoor, Amit Sadh, Vineet Singh and Sunny Kaushal, Gold promises power packed performances by an ensemble cast.

The film has been shot across the UK and India, capturing the fascinating aspects of the pre-independent era.

‘Gold’ not only marks the first ever association between Akshay Kumar and Excel Entertainment led by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar but also is the debut of TV sensation Mouni Roy.

Gold is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, helmed by Reema Kagti and is all set to release on the 15th August 2018.
