Priyanka Chopra makes mum proud

As a successful star and a doting daughter, Priyanka Chopra Jonas has given many reasons to her mother Madhu Chopra to be proud of. But her latest achievement was indeed special for her mum.

The Fashion actress was recently honoured with the Danny Kaye Humanitarian Award for her philanthropic work at the fifth annual UNICEF Snowflake Ball. Sharing her achievement with the world, Priyanka took to her Instagram to give a peek inside the event. However, the sweetest gesture was captured in a post where her proud mother is seen hugging her daughter as the latter is being recognised for her contribution to the society. Expressing her gratitude, Priyanka captioned it: “Nothing makes me happier than proud mama hug.”

She followed the post with another where she reveals that her mother is the force behind her recognitions. “Mom this is what you inculcated in me from the beginning. I hope I made you proud (sic),” she wrote.
