Several films can be made on Modi, says Paresh Rawal
Paresh Rawal has been in the news for a while as the one who will play Narendra Modi on screen, so Vivek Oberoi coming into the picture to play the same role, has created some confusion.
Paresh who had earlier said that nobody could play Modi other than him, stands by his statement. “I still maintain that nobody can play Modi other than me. I can do complete justice to the role. However, it’s a free country and even Vivek can play that role. I wish him luck,” he says.
He adds, “What I can do with that film, nobody else can. Let anybody do what they want to, we are also coming out soon.”
With the first poster of Vivek Oberoi’s film based on Narendra Modi being unveiled on Monday, Rawal avers, “Narendra Modi is such a personality that you can make four or five films on him. So why not?”
Regarding the status of his film on Modi, he reveals, “We are in the scripting stage. As we want to make it on a huge scale, it will take some time. My film will go on floors only after the elections.”
Meanwhile, Rawal will be seen in Uri. He plays former intelligence officer Ajit Doval who is believed to have supervised the 2016 surgical strikes in Uri.
