Sonam chuffed about working with Kareena

Sonam Kapoor and her producer sister  Rhea Kapoor are keen to have Kareena Kapoor Khan as part of the cast of Veere De Wedding. How eager, is proven by the fact that Kareena’s pregnancy was written into the script when she was pregnant. And when she decided to do the film after the birth of her baby, the pregnancy was written out of the script.

Sonam, for one, is excited to be working with the new mom. She says, “I’ve grown up in her company. Kareena, Karisma Kapoor, Rhea (Sonam’s sister) and I are very close. So I am really looking forward to this.”

Sonam reveals that Veere De Wedding is a film about four friends getting together for a wedding. “A friend decides to get married. It’s about how these four women go through a journey of self-discovery. It makes a statement on contemporary women. If you have a daughter, this movie will be a lot to take home.”

All the four actresses — Kareena, Sonam, Swara Bhaskara and Shikha Tilsania — have been bonding famously before the film could go on floors. Sonam says, “We’re having ball. We’re working on our comic timing and getting the rhythm of the drama correct. When you’ve talented co-stars, you just want to do better. We want to maintain a lighthearted atmosphere through the film. When the film gets over, we should say, ‘Arrey. Ho gaya?’ After watching the film, even the audiences should say the same thing.”
