Are the partners back in action?

When Salman Khan and Govinda shared screen space in Partner in 2007, they received many accolades. Fans loved the rapport they shared on screen so much that many even demanded they come back. But soon after that, the duo had differences owing to the dancing star being upset with Salman.

Although Bhai is known to not make up with people he has had fights with (remember Vivek Oberoi?), he has a special place in his heart for Govinda. The actor is still trying to work things out between him and the dancing star. There are talks about a sequel for Partner or some other project.

Govinda was initially upset about his daughter Narmada Ahuja not being launched opposite Salman in Dabangg, since the star chose Sonakshi Sinha for the film. Govinda had raved and ranted at the time, leading to a falling out. While the duo has been wanting to work with each other, the time has not been opportune.

“But they had a recent chat where they decided they will work out an opportunity together. Govinda did feature in a few A-grade films in Kill Dil and Happy Ending and is currently shooting for his film Fry Day for director Abhishek Dogra. But he had also done a B-grade movie called Aa Gaya Hero. When the two met, Salman advised Govinda to staying away from such projects and promised that he would work out something better,” says a source.

Here's hoping that the Hero No. 1 will become ‘Coolly’ No. 1 again!
