Mumbai: Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh might never have publicly owned up to being together, but their relationship is an open secret within the industry and among fans.

While Ranveer and Deepika were recently snapped getting cosy during the latter’s birthday by the paparazzi, Ranveer had also graced an event where Deepika’s father, former badminton star Prakash Padukone had launched his joint collaboration with Rahul DravidAmid news of such familial bonhomie emerging, the latest rumour says that Deepika had gone to visit Ranveer’s ailing grandmother.

The couple, whose latest film ‘Padmavat’ has been ridden by the biggest controversy the industry has seen in a couple of years, are gearing for the film’s long due release, on January 25. ‘Padmavat’ is slated to clash with Akshay Kumar’s ‘Padman’ during the Republic Day weekend.

Ranveer, meanwhile, has been preparing for Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Gully Boy’ all guns blazing.
