Malaika Arora’s hoping to return to the big screen

Malaika Arora has been missing in action for a while. She has rejected a few numbers including the Trippy song from Bhoomi, which went to Sunny Leone. Her last big song was from Housefull 2 where she danced to the Anarkali Disco Chali number and that was over five years ago.

“It has indeed been a long time since I have done a good song,” admits Malaika.  The actress-dancer also admits that she has missed out of a lot of action in the past five years.  “But hopefully something is coming up,” she says, fingers crossed.

We did manage to ask her about her close friend Karan Johar being targeted again by Kangana Ranaut and Malaika preferred to sit on the fence. “Why should I comment about someone else? If it does not affect my life, I have no take on it. Someone else (Read Kangana) has not spoken about me. It is their problem. I do not need to speak about it,” she opines.

Being a part of the social media scene, Malaika also gets trolled, but she doesn’t read too much into it. “If someone has to say something it is their thought. I don’t need to give it any importance or give them any bhaav,” she says.
