Priyanka Chopra paints the town pink

Priyanka Chopra, whose film The Sky is Pink will premiere this week at the Toronto International Film Festival, is set to put the trailer out today.

Priyanka and her co-star Farhan Akhtar have both uploaded photographs of the film on their respective social media handles to give an idea of what the film’s all about. The Sky Is Pink is now being billed as the incredible love story of a couple — Aditi and Niren Chaudhary — spanning 25 years, told through the lens of their spunky teenage daughter Aisha, who was diagnosed with a terminal illness.

However, actress Zaira Wasim, who plays Aisha in the film, quit Bollywood and has pulled out of the promotions as well. “Films have to go on. The pictures that have been put out also shows a romantic story between the parents of a child with an illness, and that will be the marketing strategy of the film as well,” says a trade source.
