Ishaan Khatter goes shopping for Janhvi Kapoor in Istanbul

There’s nothing like first-love to brighten up this month. And from what we hear there is love blossoming on the sets of Karan Johar’s Dhadak, which stars Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter.

The newcomers have quite understandably drawn very close to one another. And now sources from the sets tell us how caring Ishaan is about not just Janhvi but her entire family too.

“Ishaan is close to Jahnvi’s parents and her sister. He has already completed a film with the internationally-renowned Iranian director Majid Majidi, so he’s senior to Janhvi. He helps her with her shots, patiently waits for her to memorise her lines and spends time with her in-between shots to help her prepare for the next shot,” reveals the source.

And the debutants’ fondness is not restricted to the sets. Recently, when Ishaan was in Tehran and Istanbul promoting his first film, Majid’s Beyond The Clouds, he shopped mainly for Janhvi. “And Ishaan shopped like there was no tomorrow — most of the stuff he bought in Tehran and Istanbul was for Janhvi,” adds the source.
