'Much ado about nothing': Kim Sharma on being left penniless by husband

Mumbai: Not everyone gets the opportunity to work with stars like Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan and get directed by Aditya Chopra in their first film. Kim Sharma was one such lucky actress, getting a dream launch in Yash Raj Films' 'Mohabbatein'.

The actress was also known for being in a relationship with Yuvraj Singh few years back.

However, both events in her life didn’t materialise as the actress couldn’t quite make it big in Bollywood and broke up with the star cricketer as well.

The actress, however, is in the news for reports which claim that her husband, Kenyan business tycoon Ali Punjani dumped her for another woman and that she was ‘penniless’ after the split. The reports also claimed that she now goes by the name Kimi Sharma and is trying her hand at becoming a brand strategist now.

Kim finally took to Twitter on Monday to poke fun at the reports, sharing a picture where she is looking confused and captioning it, ‘When you spend the weekend raging at #Coldplay and come back to find out you're "penniless.'

She added that she could not understand the different angles and ‘groundbreaking’ details everyone knew about and that there was much ado about nothing.

While the actress might not be penniless literally, it is not clear if reports of her marriage being on the rocks are true.
