Neha-Angad’s hush-hush wedding

While social media is still recovering from Sonam Kapoor’s big fat Punjabi wedding, another star quietly tied the knot on Thursday. Neha Dhupia, actress and former Miss India, is the secret bride. Neha married her long-term beau Angad Bedi at an Anand Karaj ceremony in South Delhi. Angad is the son of former Indian cricketer Bishan Singh Bedi.

Neha cut the blushing bride figure in a soft pink lehenga paired with heavy jadau jewellery. Meanwhile, Angad was looking dapper in a cream sherwani and pink turban.

The ceremony was intimate and was attended by the likes of Ajay Jadeja, Ashish Nehra and Gaurav Kapoor. The couple, who managed to keep the event under wraps, announced the good news through social media. Neha posted a picture with the caption “Best decision of my life.. today, I married my best friend. Hello there, husband! (sic)”.

Meanwhile, Angad’s post said, “Best friend.. now wife!! Well Hello there mrs BEDI!!! (sic)”

Bollywood director Karan Johar was the first celebrity to congratulate the couple. His Instagram post says, “My darling and most special friend @NehaDhupia who l love and adore dearly is married to the gentleman and talented @Imangadbedi !! Here’s wishing them decades of unconditional love!!!!?????????????? (sic)”.

Neha was last seen in Qarib Qarib Singlle and is currently busy with hosting talk shows. Meanwhile, Angad, who appeared in the Salman Khan-starrer Tiger Zinda Hai, will be seen next in Soorma.
