When Shah Rukh Khan impressed Jacqueline’s mother

Jacqueline Fernandez is currently awaiting the release of her movie A Gentleman, and she’s excited. She’s paired opposite Sidharth Malhotra in this one, and she evidently likes him as a co-star.

Quiz Jackkie on which other co-star she thinks has a gentleman quality, and the actress gets tongue-tied. Saif Ali Khan, her co-star from Race 2, she says after much deliberation. “Saif is one star who is a thorough gentleman. If a lady is accompanying him, he will open the door of a car, and until she’s seated comfortably, he will not move to his seat. I think Saif has other qualities which him a very meticulous person. Every woman likes these qualities in every man.”

Jacqueline also goes on to sing praises of Shah Rukh Khan. “While I’ve not worked with him in any films, but whenever he meets, he’s a proper gentleman. He’s one star who also knows how to extend his respect towards any woman,” she says.

She lets us in on a little secret. “I remember my mom and I were attending a party, where we met Shah Rukh. As soon as I introduced my mom to him, he took her hands in his, kissed them and touched them to his eyes. He took all her blessings. My mom was so impressed with his courteous gesture. Whenever we discuss this with anyone, she happily praises this gesture to one and all. He wins the hearts of young and old alike by extending his respect to all. It’s a gentleman like quality,” she smiles.
