SRK and Salman in a comedy? TZH director Ali Abbas Zafar would love to cast them
Mumbai: Ali Abbas Zafar has worked with Salman Khan twice – in ‘Sultan’ and ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’. This director has given the actor two superhits in this, and if you look at it, brought Salman back in limelight after the ‘Tubelight’ debacle.
There was also a time when Shah Rukh Khan visited Salman on ‘Sultan’ sets. Ali thinks the superstars can easily come together for a film because of their easy understanding and chemistry.
The director told DNA, “The only two superstars who I think can be brought for a film together are Salman and Shah Rukh. They have an easy understanding and chemistry. They are always in their element with each other. You need to hear them talk when they are sitting together.”
Ali went on to further reveal that he would love to cast both the actors in a comedy. “I would love to do a comedy with both of them. I definitely want to; I don’t know if it will ever happen but one thing is for sure, both of them are extremely secure. Hence, it wouldn’t be a problem to get them to do a film together. But the script has to be well-written,” he added.
Salman has worked in a comedy 'Andaz Apna Apna' with Aamir Khan which has gone on to gain the cult status today. Salman and Shah Rukh have otherwise always done a serious or a romantic film together. Both 'Sultan' and 'Tiger Zinda Hai' also happen to be an action film where Ali and Salman collaborated. So if Ali's plans come true, it will be a first for the trio.
Salman and SRK came together last for ‘Tubelight’ and according to buzz, Salman will also make an appearance in Shah Rukh’s next Aanand L. Rai film ‘Zero’.
