Head over heels
As the coronavirus pandemic continues to wreak havoc worldwide, quarantining at home to prevent the spread of the disease is becoming the new normal.
While some of our celebrities have taken to their hobbies such as cooking, playing music and gardening among other things, others are focusing on projects they will resume post-lockdown.
Some B-towners are also focusing on fitness, and to make exercising more fun at home, they are participating in a new Internet fitness challenge.
The challenge, which requires the participant to put on a t-shirt while doing a headstand, gained popularity across the globe when earlier this month The Spider-Man: Homecoming star Tom Holland came up with it.
The actor even went on to nominate Hollywood heartthrobs Jake Gyllenhaal and Ryan Reynolds. While Jake aced it, Ryan flat out refused.
And the latest to join the bandwagon in Bollywood is actress Rakul Preet Singh who posted a video of nailing the challenge on Instagram.
Explaining how the headstand is not only fun but also good for the core, she captioned the video: “Was just bored of wearing my tee the normal way#quarantinelife #weekendchallenge So here a task for all of you to do.. it's like a super elevated plank, amazing for your core.”
The De De Pyaar De actress then nominated actress Rhea Chakraborty, and Akansha Ranjan Kapoor to take up the viral challenge.
Earlier, actress Neha Sharma and Mandira Bedi too had knocked the headstand off the park, showing their best fit self.
