Ileana D'Cruz has got Hollywood plans

I am most comfortable in English. So, Hollywood would be fun, but I don't have an agent, Ileana said.

Goan beauty Ileana D’Cruz has managed to make a mark in Bollywood without a godfather. Now she aspires to leave her mark in Hollywood, but on her terms.

“I am most comfortable in English. So, Hollywood would be fun, but I don’t have an agent,” Ileana said.

When asked how does she plan to make headway into West, Ileana had it all sorted.

“Social media has made everyone so accessible that if people want to choose an Indian actor, they can find me. I don’t want to do the whole audition thing again. They can watch any of my films for reference. I am not going to run after anything or anybody. I believe I am qualified,” said the feisty girl.

Always known to speak her mind, Ileana makes it a point that even though she is an outsider, she has never been desperate to get films.

“I think at some level if you have some valuable contacts, you can get better offers. However, I would like to be recognised for my work. Hence, I am not desperate. I won’t go out for a drink with someone just for a film. It’s just not me,” the Barfi actress said.

After proving her versatility in her films, she will now play a Punjabi girl in the upcoming film Mubarakan. Well, we wish her all the best for home and the West.
