Ill health won’t stop Akshara Haasan

Akshara Haasan, whose last outing Shamitabh failed at the box office, has put the past behind her and is currently busy promoting her second film Laali Ki Shaadi Mein Laddoo Deewana. Akshara’s vocation, unfortunately, comes with the compulsion to attend several promotion campaigns right up to the release of the film.

It turns out the actress is down with fever right now but wasn’t deterred by the ill health. The actress continued the promotional activities for the film despite being asked by doctors to take a pause. Akshara, who’s extremely professional like her father Kamal Haasan, ensured she finished her interviews.

A source close to the actress reveals, “Akshara is busy giving back-to-back interviews for her upcoming film. She has been unwell for the past couple of days. Yesterday her health deteriorated and has been asked to take rest.”

While she tried to make appearances as much as she could, when her health took a turn for the worse, she had to cancel a few interviews, which were part of the promotional activity. If sources are to be believed, the actress will be flying to Chennai soon. Her mother Sarika is said to be by her side. Here’s hoping for a speedy recovery.
