Salman Khan to co-produce Himesh Reshammiya’s talent show

Salman Khan, who is currently shooting for his upcoming film Tiger Zinda Hai alongside Katrina Kaif, has reportedly joined hands with music composer Himesh Reshammiya for a singing reality show — not as a host or judge, but as a co-producer.

A source close to music composer and actor reveals, “Himesh had approached Salman Khan to help him promote and nurture new talent across India, for which the superstar had recently given a nod. The two are all set to produce a singing reality show — Jewels of India — this year.”

Salman and Himesh have been known to become good friends of late. Himesh’s recent album features a track by Salman’s rumoured girlfriend Iulia Vantur. Besides, the two have worked on the same projects a few times before too. Reports further suggest that filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala green-lit Himesh’s name for Kick’s sequel after Salman suggested his name.
