What's in a name!

The anchor quickly corrected herself, and Parineeti was assuaged enough to get her expression back to a smiling face.

Parineeti Chopra was in for a bit of a shock when she attended an event recently, to speak about ocean conservation and the importance of a clean India.

The anchor of the event made a bit of a faux pas when talking about the Ishaqzaade actress. In a hurry, the anchor turned ‘Parineeti’ to ‘Parineeta’.

Besides being a wildly popular Vidya Balan-Saif Ali Khan movie, Parineeta is also a 1914 Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay novella, which the said film is based on. Now, while being called Parineeta wouldn’t take away anything from the actress, she did let out an “I don’t believe this,” kind of shocked expression at the goof up.
