John Abraham's film Parmanu to see the light of day

The film is all set to release on May 25. Well, we hope the film's success makes up for the legal hassles John had to face.

At the trailer launch of Parmanu, John Abraham said that his team was interested in making good films, and would not be involved in any kind of mud-slinging. “We are not here to throw mud on anybody’s face, we want to keep all the controversies aside. We are confident about the subject and the film. The film is excellent and has to do well. We are hoping for it,” said John.

John Abraham, who plays the lead role, is also one of the producers of the film. The release of the film was in doldrums after JA Entertainment and KriArj Entertainment got into a legal dispute of sorts.

John shared what it felt like to be confronted with these challenges just before the release of his film, “At one point, one does feel surprised as we do not expect such strange things to happen with our film. I called up Abhishek saying, ‘this is too much’, and he would tell me, ‘look at the positive side, there is publicity’.”

Further commenting on the way he dealt with the problem, John said, “We would motivate each other as we have not done anything wrong, we are honest and it will happen the right way. It is difficult when someone points finger at you, at your company, you don't like it.”
