Even my own sister doesn't take me seriously, says Shilpa Shetty

Actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra has made her debut foray into the digital space as the host of Amazon Prime Video’s reality dating show Hear Me Love Me, and she’s loving every bit of it.

Talking about her experience on the show, Shilpa says, “I got to meet different kinds of personalities and I realized that my opinion was so important to them. They trusted my sensibilities, or maybe my experience. In real life, my friends and even my own sister, who is unmarried right now, don’t take me seriously. But on the show, people gave my opinion and my experience so much importance, I was delighted. My self-worth kind of went up.”

“I’ve told Shamita that she must watch the show and see how important the contestants make me feel,” the actress adds, laughing.

Hear Me Love Me gets women in the age group of 21 to 32 years to choose from three prospective male partners based on their personalities alone. The contestants are people from different walks of life, with diverse ambitions and personalities, all hoping to find love.
