Raees', Kaabil', Haider' actor Narendra Jha passes away at age 55
Mumbai: Film and TV actor Narendra Jha passed away due to a heart attack in Mumbai on Wednesday morning. He was 55.
He reportedly suffered a heart attack at his farmhouse in Wada, Palghar on the outskirts of Mumbai at around 5 am.
It is being reported that it was the third heart attack he suffered. He was accompanied by his wife Pankaja Thakur at the farmhouse as he was advised rest following health issues and treatment at Kokilaben Ambani Hospital in the city, according to a report in The Indian Express.
Several Bollywood stars expressed their grief at the actor’s passing on Twitter. Directors Hansal Mehta, Ashoke Pandit and actor Sonu Sood were among those who were shocked to know about his death.

Jha has been in the industry for more than two decades now, but got his recognition only recently with films like Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Haider’, Hrithik Roshan's ‘Mohenjo Daro’, Vidya Balan-Emraan Hashmi's ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahaani’, Sunny Deol's ‘Ghayal Once Again’ and John Abraham's ‘Force 2’.
He was seen in both films facing off in Republic Day 2017 clash, Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Raees’ and Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Kaabil.’
He also acted in several TV shows like ‘Havan’, where he played a godman, and others 'Chhoona Hai Aasmaan', 'Samvidhaan: The Making of the Constitution of India' and also ‘Kyunki... Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi...'.
He was reportedly set to star in Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor’s ‘Saaho’, which is likely to release this year.
He is the third actor to have passed away in the last three weeks after veteran actresses Sridevi and Shammi.
