Deepika Padukone plans to turn producer?

Deepika Padukone is an inspiration to many. Right from making a mark in the Hindi film industry to moving to Hollywood, to standing where she is now fighting all odds. The actress, who has slowly and steadily carved a niche for herself, now plans to turn producer.

Post the success of Padmaavat, the actress was going easy on the film front. And while one would wonder what made her slow down, a source reveals Deepika has bigger plans in place.

“Deepika is focusing on setting up her own production house. She wants to be associated with interesting and content driven films. She will soon be donning the producers hat,” says a source.

The Piku actress had made an announcement that she will be seen with Irrfan Khan in a tentatively titled film Sapna Didi. However, citing Irrfan’s health the film is on hold for now.

Besides this, the actress has not announced anything. And it looks like, Deepika is investing all her time in setting up the production house.
