Neerja, Kapoor and Sons, Dangal, Udta Punjab dominate Filmfare Awards
New Delhi: The Tinsel Town gathered last night to raise toast to the best works in 2016, at the Jio Filmfare Awards.
The night was dominated by films like 'Neerja,' 'Kapoor & sons,' 'Dangal' and Udta Punjab.'
While 'Neerja' took six black ladies and 'Kapoor & sons bagged five, 'Dangal' and 'Udta Punjab' took away four trophies each.
Among all these, the most mentionable ones are- 'Dangal' for 'Best Film, 'Best Actor' (Aamir Khan) and Best Director (Nitesh Tiwari); 'Udta Punjab' for Best Actress (Alia Bhatt), 'Best Actor in Critics' Choice' (Shahid Kapoor) and 'Best Debutant Male' (Diljit Dosanjh); 'Neerja' for 'Best Actress in Critics' Choice' (Sonam Kapoor), 'Best Film in Critics' Choice' (Ram Madhvani) and 'Best Actress In A Supporting Role' (Shabana Azmi); Kapoor & Sons for 'Best Actor In A Supporting Role' (Rishi Kapoor), and 'Best Story' (Shakun Batra and Ayesha Devitre).
