SOTY 2: Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria finalized for Tiger Shroff starrer?

Mumbai: Karan Johar has made his fans wait enough for ‘Student Of The Year 2’. At first, he took his own sweet time to confirm that Tiger Shroff is a part of the sequel, and now, the producer, in spite of promising to announce the leading ladies of that film, has not uttered a word about them.

However, according to a report on Mumbai Mirror, Karan auditioned close to 800 girls for the part and has finalized Chunky Pandey’s daughter Ananya Pandey and actress Tara Sutaria for the roles.

A source had told the leading daily, “Karan, Tiger Shroff and director Punit Malhotra were present at the audition where Ananya was asked to read out Alia's lines from Student Of The Year. And Ananya sailed through like a professional.”

If confirmed, both of them will be making their debut with ‘Student Of The Year’ 2, directed by Punit Malhotra and produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. KJo had launched one of the most looked-up-to talents Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra in ‘Student Of The Year’, which released 6 years back.
