I don't want to make a fool of myself, says Diana Penty
Diana Penty often comes across as a girl next door in all her films. But she has decided to change her image with her next film Pokhran. The actress will be seen shedding her glam image and doing some action scenes in the film. She is, in fact, raving about her new routine. “Pokhran is based on a true story. We all are in a mission in this film. I have a few action sequences in the film and I’ve been taking lessons on kick-boxing for it. I have a one-hour class every day — and it’s a great way to work out. I’ve lost quite a lot of weight in last two months because of kick-boxing,” she says.
Unlike other actresses who often have a take on nepotism Diana says she has no complaints despite coming from a non-filmy background. The actress, who will be seen in Lucknow Central opposite Farhan Akhtar, says, “I’ve had a good run so far and good experiences with the people I’ve worked so far. I’ve no complaints. I couldn’t have asked for a better debut. You have to work harder maybe because it’s not as easy to get roles but I’ve been reading good stuff.”
Being a celebrity, one is constantly under the media radar and Diana reveals that she is scared most of the times. She says, “I’m always scared because you’re always in front of the public eye. I don’t want to make a fool out of myself. People always call you on stage and ask you for comments and you have to be prepared. So you have to think quickly and be careful with whatever you say but also be honest at the same time.”
