Karan, Arjun have lovely messages for Manmarziyaan's Taapsee, but she's still 'angry'
Mumbai: It’s been a Taapsee Pannu show all the way as ‘Manmarziyaan’ hit the screens this Friday.
Along with her co-actors Abhishek Bachchan and Vicky Kaushal, the actress has been lauded almost unanimously by critics and many have called it ‘her film.’
Celebrities from the film fraternity have also been going gaga over the film or conveying their good wishes to the team.
Among them, Karan Johar and Arjun Kapoor, took to Twitter to express their thoughts on the Anurag Kashyap directorial.
KJo was left awed by the romantic triangle and praised the writer Kanika Dhillon, and was proud of ‘amazing’ Abhishek’s ‘superbly solid, silent and sensitive portrayal’, called Vicky ‘gusto and glory’ and Taapsee ‘an absolute veteran’ for ‘holding the strings of her layered character.’
Arjun hadn’t seen the film yet, but conveyed his good wishes to the team, hoping the audiences give it the ‘highest form of love.’
Their is so much of loveliness in @KanikaDhillon’s writing!! She captures the emotional beats with ease and expertise! The performances are extraordinary! A superbly solid, silent and sensitive portrayal by @juniorbachchan !! So so proud of his work!!! He is so amazing ! ðŸ‘ðŸ‘ðŸ‘

But both the celebrities goofed up on one aspect, they tagged the wrong account of Taapsee.
The actress was pleased to know their reactions, but displeased about their error and made it evident to them.
She told Karan that she always misses the praise because of this for her hard-worked performances, and also urged Arjun to do so after watching the film.
Karan u need to start tagging me correctly now ! I always end up missing these compliments on my timeline !!!!! I have worked hard for it! 😜

Kjo apologised for the mistake, but Arjun felt tagging was ‘so last season’ and instead said he would hug her whenever they’d meet.
Oh no!!! Am so sorry!!!! 😂 https://t.co/ComWMY8vn5

KJo informed Arjun to pay heed to her request as she gets upset otherwise and the latter then felt the anger was justified and delivered a twist to her dialogue from her hit film, ‘Pink,’ by saying, ‘Yes means Yes.’
You must tag her right if and when you do! She gets very upset otherwise https://t.co/slJAyCQzGb

Yes the anger is palpable @taapsee in this case YES means YES !!! https://t.co/PZfUTC5jRo

The incident reminded us of Anil Kapoor tagging Sagarika Ghose instead of Ghatge, but luckily it wasn’t another celebrity they tagged this time.
