Karan Johar and Kangana Ranaut avoid each other

A lot has happened between Kangana Ranaut and Karan Johar. In February this year, the Queen actress appeared on his chat show Koffee With Karan and accused Karan Johar of being the “flag bearer of nepotism” in Bollywood. Later this year, at an awards ceremony, Karan, Saif Ali Khan and Varun Dhawan once again brought the nepotism debate into the spotlight.

So when they were spotted at Mukesh Ambani’s bash this week, Kangana and Karan tried hard to avoid each other. “They came, they saw each other and pretended that the other person did not exist. Karan had come in earlier. Kangana came in later. Hrithik Roshan preferred to not attend the event as he has now been advised to stay mum for a while,” says a source.

In the aftermath of the Hrithik interview to select media, Kangana had also found her name struck off from actor Dino Morea’s guest list at his party, though she was there last year. Karan and Hrithik are close friends of Morea and he did not want any unpleasant episodes at his do.
