CBFC clears SRK and Alia's Dear Zindagi without a single cut!

CBFC is also mighty impressed with Gauri Shinde's film, which is set to release on November 25th.

Mumbai: Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt's ‘Dear Zindagi’ didn't have to face the wrath of CBFC. Yes, the film has successfully made it past Central Board of Film Certification without a single cut. Yes, the film has been cleared just the way it is and has been given a UA certificate by the board.

Directed by Gauri Shinde, the film is all set to hit the theatres on November 25. A daily reported that CBFC complimented the film by saying that it would be a crime to cut a single shot from the film. They also praised Bollywood’s King Khan by saying that his movies don’t require a lot of cuts.

There were several reports suggesting that Pakistani actor Ali Zafar was replaced in the film by Tahir Raj Bhasin following the ban on Pakistani actors in Bollywood. However, at a recent event, Alia Bhatt cleared the air by saying, “Nobody has been replaced and the film is releasing as it is.”

‘Dear Zindagi’ has Alia Bhatt's character battling serious mental issues, while Shah Rukh Khan plays her quirky yet smart therapist, who gives her a fresh perspective on life.

The film also stars an ensemble of male actors including Aditya Roy Kapoor as a part of the huge male ensemble of stars.
