Mumbai: A few days back, news reports were rife that Aamir Khan and Ranveer Singh are coming together for an advertisement, but with this announcement, it looks like now the two have become pitted against each other.

A brand, Vivo mobiles, that had Ranveer Singh as its brand ambassador, has now been replaced by Aamir Khan according to a report on DNA.

"Ranveer Singh and Vivo India have had an exciting and productive association for the past two years...Vivo India is thankful to Ranveer for being an invaluable and integral part of the Vivo India journey so far," Vivo India said in a statement.

The statement added that the relationship aided Vivo India in generating mass brand awareness. "The brand has evolved significantly since its launch in India and has aggressive consolidation plans that will boost future growth," it said.

While Aamir Khan is currently shooting for ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’, Ranveer Singh is busy with Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Gully Boy’ alongside Alia Bhatt.
