Not autobiography, birthday girl Katrina to co-produce, clears air on being single
Katrina Kaif turned 35 today and currently, she is on a holiday with her family, far away from limelight.
Speaking on her autobiography, she told Hindustan Times, “That’s absolutely not true. I don’t think that’s going to happen. But I am surely looking forward to getting into production at some point — maybe not all by myself, but through a joint production. Currently, one of the ideas is under development and that project could materialise. I’d like to look into that and hopefully be a part of it, besides a few business lines that I am considering.”
“I think partnership is very important in creative spaces. So, I would like to do it [film production] in partnership with somebody else. Although, I am not working as a writer on anything right now, but there are a few things in development that I am looking at, and those are the kind of spaces wherein I would like to co-produce [projects],” she added.
Katrina elaborated, “For me, it’s all about what I feel is right at that point of time. And that’s what matters. It’s not necessarily about being a part of the tribe or anything else. Right now, I feel that if the kind of genres I am working on materialises, then I would definitely like to go for co-productions, as that’s what excites me.”
Katrina is currently spending time with her sisters ahead of London, the photos of which she shared.
Her sister Isabelle Kaif shared a photo and captioned it ‘Wanderlust’ which led to Katrina teasing the young one.
Isabelle, who is also shooting for ‘Time To Dance’, calls up Katrina only when in need of a genuine advice, reveals Kat.
“She is still in the middle of shooting and yes, I am in constant touch with her. She is really mature about everything and is working hard. Isabelle doesn’t call me for every little thing. She calls me only when she genuinely has a question and really needs my advice. She is very independent that way. I am happy she is fighting her own battles and doing things on her own merit. It’s fantastic,” Katrina said.
Katrina spoke about love to DNA and mentioned, “Love will happen when it has to. There’s no sense of urgency. The time that I have spent alone has been very important to understand myself better. So, I do believe that it will happen at the right time.”
