Bollywood the house of heartbreaks', says Ranbir Kapoor
Having grown up in the film industry, Ranbir Kapoor knows just how fragile stardom really is. He calls Bollywood the “house of heartbreaks”.
“We are in an industry where your heart is breaking all the time. People try and pull you down; and if you are a failure, they don't let you live,” the actor says, adding, “You just have to be prepared. If you want to survive in this industry, you have to have a strong value system and an idea of who you are. You can’t get swayed by the glamorous image onscreen.”
His latest film, Sanju, is a box-office success and shows no signs of slowing down. The star-kid talks about what stardom means to him.
“Stardom is the opportunity to make your own choices. And if you have that, which I do in my life, that’s stardom. Its not about arrogance, box office collections, or how rich you are,” said the 35-year-old.
