Chitrangda Singh gets emotional

Chitrangda Singh is basking in the success of her first production, Soorma. The film, which has garnered great word-of-mouth publicity, is doing good business at the box office. And it’s making Chitrangada emotional.

The actress-turned-producer talks about how she’s believed in the story since day one, and how she has wanted to share it with everyone.

“It’s a brand new feeling! To finally see the result of two-and-a-half years of patience and passion onscreen. What makes it even more emotional is the response that Sandeep Singh’s story is getting. He has received the Arjuna Award for his professional achievements, and now he’s getting love, accolades and support for his personal achievements as well, which is what makes it worthwhile,” Singh says.

The sports biopic has managed to do well over the weekend despite the rains and the FIFA World Cup finals. After this, Chitrangada will begin promotions of her forthcoming film Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster 3.
