No more kisses for Emraan Hashmi
Emraan Hashmi started his career serving as an Assistant Director on Raaz, and went on to debut as an actor in Murder. Now adding another feather on his cap, the actor is all set to turn into a producer with his upcoming film Cheat India.
The actor, in association with T-Series, will produce the upcoming comedy-drama as well as act in it. While over the years, the humble actor has proved his mettle as an actor in critically well-panned movies; however, he has been unable to shun his ‘serial-kisser’ moniker established by his earlier releases.
But all of that is going to change, as the actor will let go of the smooch scenes as he now partly holds the reigns of his movies. “I will also be performing in all my films that will be produced under our banner, so I have decided to say a big no-no to smooches. For the matter of fact, smooches are totally banned in films produced under our home production,” reveals the actor.
However, this change is not inspired by him trying to make suitable content that his son Ayaan Hashmi could consume. He states that as a producer, his responsibility lies in making movies for larger audience and not just for his family. “I am not going to make films for my son or my family members. So needless to state, films are made for the audiences and just for family members to sit at home and watch,’’ he says with a smile.
