Shraddha as Anuradha in Gulshan biopic?

Ever since a biopic on Gulshan Kumar was announced, with Akshay Kumar essaying the music mogul’s role in it, the industry has been speculating about the other characters that will be featured in the film. Gushan Kumar has played to mentor to multiple names in the music fraternity, including Nadeem-Shravan. For now though, we can safely reveal that Anuradha Paudwal, who played a prominent role in the man’s life and the growth of his empire, will be portrayed in the film. The primary contender for the role as of now is Shraddha Kapoor.

Says a source close to the developement, “Shradha fits the bill because she has a music background. She is related to the illustrious Mangeshkar family, and can sing. The role requires an actor who can also sing.”

Shraddha has played a singer twice before in her films — Aashiqui 2 and Rock On 2.
