Richa Chadda's political connection
Richa Chadda often looks to pick out the most interesting roles, and has done varied ones. But somehow, she ends up finding a political connect within her roles these days.
Sudhir Mishra’s DaasDev, set to release on March 23, sees her essaying the role of a politician. The romantic thriller is a political movie, a sort of reversal of the classic Devdas.
Incidentally, her last release Fukrey Returns, saw Richa turn into a politician from being a lady gangster, in the climax. Her next is also set to be a political satire.
“Richa has three films in the coming months, and coincidentally, she has had three back-to-back movies that have had a political connection,” her spokesperson says. “From the climax of Fukrey, to her next release DaasDev, where she essays the role of a politician, and her next that is an untitled political satire, that’s going on floors soon. All these roles are very different from each other, yet have a political connection to it.”
If sources are to be believes, the makers of Fukrey Returns are also planning a third part for the series, where Richa furthers her role of a politician.
