Mumbai: Varun Dhawan starrer ‘October’ opened to a lukewarm response i.e. Rs. 5 crores on its first day Friday.
While that happened, what is interesting to see is that the collections have been steadily growing since then.
After a good weekend collection (Rs. 7 crores on both days), it was to be seen how this one holds up at the Box office on weekdays.
And there wasn’t much disappointment as the collections have been Rs. 2.70 crores on Monday and Rs. 2.61 crores on Tuesday.
The film has already hit quarter of a century, within 5 days of its release by collecting Rs. 25.56 crores.
#October is ROCK-STEADY... Metros/plexes are consistently contributing to the revenue... Fri 5.04 cr, Sat 7.47 cr, Sun 7.74 cr, Mon 2.70 cr, Tue 2.61 cr. Total: ₹ 25.56 cr. India biz.— taran adarsh (@taran_adarsh) April 18, 2018
The movie should not have much trouble sustaining at the box office considering that all the movies which are going to release in the few days – ‘Nanu Ki Jaanu’, ‘Beyond The Clouds’, ‘High Jack’, ‘Daas Dev’, are of very little competition for it.
