Mumbai: Ranveer Singh recently posted a picture with Prakash Padukone, father of his rumoured girlfriend Deepika Padukone.

Ranveer attended an event at the Padukone-Dravid Centre for Excellence in Bengaluru where he also met Rahul Dravid, Abhinav Bindra, Geet Sethi and Vishwanathan Anand. Sharing an Instagram story, Ranveer added pictures with each of the sports star he met.

Deepika too was present on the occasion. She also gave a warm speech where she shared an emotional anecdote about her father.

On the work front, Ranveer is currently gearing up for the release of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s mega project Padmavati starring Deepika and Shahid Kapoor. He has also begun preparations for Zoya Akhtar’s next, 'Gully Boy'.

Ranveer Singh will soon start working on Rohit Shetty’s ‘Simmba’ and Kabir Khan’s ‘83’. While ‘Simmba’ could be a spin-off of Shetty’s ‘Singham’, 83 is a film about India’s 1983 World Cup victory with Ranveer playing Kapil Dev.
