Who’s Salman’s significant other?
While a lot of names have been tossed in the ring, the actor is yet to finalise the leading lady for his Eid 2020 release.
The cat’s finally out of the bag. The proposed Salman Khan Eid 2020 release is not titled India’s Most Wanted Cop Radhe. Though it’s a sequel of sorts to Salman-Prabhudheva’s 2009 thriller Wanted, the title is yet to be decided.
And according to a recent report Anushka Sharma has nearly been finalised for Salman’s Eid release. “Not true,” refutes a source in the know. “Salman wouldn’t want to work with Anushka again and neither would Anushka. During Sultan they had a lot of heated arguments and Salman doesn’t like actresses arguing while shooting,” adds the source further.
Another informed source says Prabhudheva suggested Sonakshi Sinha as the lead in the Eid 2020 cop thriller. However, Salman wants to keep his collaboration with Sinha exclusive to the Dabangg franchise.
Disha Patni’s name also came up for the project, but that seems more like the invention of the PR machinery than any genuinely credible casting. Leaving them only with the ever-willing Katrina Kaif.
She can never say no to Salman whether it is to step in at the last minute in Priyanka Chopra’s place in Bharat or jump in to fulfil the heroine’s role in Salman’s 2020 Eid release.
