Smriti Irani to view Padmavati?
If the buzz is to be believed, there will be a special screening for Smriti and sports minister, Rajyavardhan Rathore.
With the protests against Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati getting out of hand, the silver lining to the dark ugly clouds is now visible, with the members of the ruling party rumoured to be coming forward to view the film after it goes through the Central Board Of Film Certification (CBFC).
Apparently there will be special screenings of Padmavati for the current minister for Information and Broadcasting, Smriti Irani and sports minister, Rajyavardhan Rathore.
A source from the production team says, “We are trying to zero in on individuals whose voices would be heard by protesters once the CBFC clears the film. We are very confident that the protests will die down once the film is seen by people.”
