Amyra may play Rajkummar’s love interest

The crazy and quirky look of Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao in Mental Hai Kya is making all the right noises. While the audience is eager to see what’s in the film, the makers plan to reveal the rest of the star cast one at a time.

A source close to the team reveals that actress Amyra Dastur is paired opposite Rajkummar in Mental Hai Kya.

“Amyra has been approached to play Rajkummar’s love interest in the film. It’s a very quirky film and the makers have plans to cast some unusual pairing for the film,” a source said.

Though Amyra who was last seen in Kung Fu Yoga, she has been active in the South fillm industries.

Mental Hai Kya is a dark comedy, which will address the stigmas attached to mental illness. And this movie reunites actors Kangana and Rajkummar after their stint in Queen.

Directed by National Award-winner Prakash Kovelamudi and produced by Balaji Motion Pictures and Karma Media, the movie is scheduled to release this year. Kovelamudi is a popular Telugu actor-filmmaker, who bagged a National Award in 2006 for Bomelatta.
