Farah awaits return
Farah Khan had almost locked the cast of her remake of Seven Brides For Seven Brothers when COVID-19 struck.
The choreographer-turned-director, who has been active on social media with her lockdown lessons, was in the middle of the film’s preproduction when she was rudely pulled back from work and sent home.
“Farah almost had everything in place. The pre-production of a film of the nature of Seven Brides For Seven Sisters is huge and the casting itself is a gargantuan task in itself. Plus, there are other things like dates and recce and locations. The film will now have to be planned so that she gets the climate for the film the way she wanted in the locations that she has planned to shoot; it is not going to be easy. But she is looking forward to returning to the drawing board and start her pre-production all over again,” says a source in the know.
Farah, in the meantime, is awaiting the release of her web production Mrs Serial Killer starring Manoj Bajpayee and Jacqueline Fernandez on Netflix, directed by husband and filmmaker Shirish Kunder.
