Boman's fund raising in New York
One of the finest actors of this era – Boman Irani – has multiple roles to play in life. The actor turned producer and now a motivational speaker, Boman is in New York to be a part of a fundraiser activity with the Akanksha Foundation.
During the activity, Boman is spending quality time with two Indian students who have specially flown to New York to represent all the children of the foundation. The event aimed to raise funds for approximately 8000 children.
The 3 Idiot actor treated the kids with a popular Broadway show— The Lion King and a tour to some iconic places of the city including the Times Square.
Boman, along with the foundation, took a pledge to help and raise funds for the education of the children and were able to raise around one million dollars.
“The kids are extremely sweet and bright. They inspired me with their energy and curiosity. This is our next generation and I hope people come forward and help these kids and their dreams to come true. I am happy that I am able to do a little for the kids,” shares the actor.
Not long ago, Boman had launched his production house — Irani Movietone, with Amitabh Bachchan as a chief guest. Boman is also said to be working on a script for a film, which he intends to direct soon.
