Janhvi and Khushi are both responsible kids, says Arjun Kapoor

As far as Janhvi is concerned, I am very happy that she has been accepted. Now, she has to build on it: Arjun Kapoor

Actor Arjun Kapoor, who’s assumed the role of a protective older brother to Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor since the sudden demise of their mother, hopes the girls are getting better with time at coping with the loss.

“I hope they both are in a better place today than they were a few months ago. It is my job to be there as a source of support while they figure out their lives,” Arjun says, adding, “It’s not like they have become my responsibility. They are both responsible kids and my father has done a great job bringing them up. He has our support and we will continue to do so.”

In the wake of Sridevi’s tragic demise, the two sides of Boney Kapoor’s have united to provide each other with some much-needed emotional support. In this tough time, Janhvi has also made a successful debut opposite Ishaan Khattar in Dhadak, and Arjun couldn’t be more proud of his little sister.

“As far as Janhvi is concerned, I am very happy that she has been accepted. Now, she has to build on it. One film is not enough to know that she has had a good start. She must continue to improve her craft and connect with more people,” says the 33-year-old actor.

He adds, “The hard part begins now. The desire to make it must come from within her. I see a fire in her, and that’s what makes me feel that she will achieve her goals.”
