No relationship till I get married, says Alia Bhatt

Mumbai: In an interview with Hindustan Times, the 23-year-old Bollywood sensation has made her plans clear- concentration is on career! Let alone relationships, Alia is not even contemplating having a fling at this stage of her life. And, why would she? After all, in her brief career of 4 years, Alia has struck a perfect balance between commercial success and critical acclaim- something actors take ages to achieve.

Alia, who has earned the title of a ‘natural performer’ after ‘Highway’ and ‘Udta Punjab’, claims to be in a happy space and has no room for commitments. So, is she dating Siddharth?

“Sid will always be a good friend (pauses). He is actually more than a good friend. He is very close to me. So, we are just great friends… If you mean that if he’s not in my life any longer, then that’s not true. He is still in my life. No broken ties,” comes the answer from Miss Bhatt’s end.

When asked about her relationship status, the ‘Dear Zindagi’ star gives a million dollar response:

Until I get married, I’ll be single. The day I get married will be the only day I will be in a relationship.

At 23, some of us struggle to even pay the rent and look at her, has everything figured out. Way to go, girl!
