I was confident as a debutant'

Husband Ajay, however, believes that the paparazzi too should be careful.

At a recent media interaction where Kajol and husband Ajay Devgn spoke about their latest social campaign, aiming to creating awareness about the harmful use of plastics, the actress spoke about her foray into acting, which happened when she was still in her teens.

When asked if she had any advice for her younger self, the veteran actress says, “The kid in me was supremely confident, and I am supremely confident right now as well. So, I think it was all good. I wouldn't tell her to doubt herself or anything. I have made some mistakes along the way. But I wouldn't say mistakes, they were learning experiences for me. So what I am today, is because of what she decided. So good work girl!”

While sitting among a hoard of reporters and cameramen, the celebrity couple addressed the paparazzi culture and spoke about how it affects their children. It's a known fact that the paparazzi love celebrities and will follow them around to get the most candid shots. However, of late, one has seen that the celebrities little ones too haven't been spared this fate. When asked if this trend makes her concerned as a parent, Kajol says, “Of course it bothers us. But that's something we've inculcated in our kids from a very young age. They're taught the protocols of going out and how to go about it. I tell them that they have to handle it. And yes, they are young and we tell them that we'll protect them as much as we can and will be able to. But, we also tell them that they'll have to take it with a pinch of salt and work around it as well.”

Husband Ajay, however, believes that the paparazzi too should be careful. “The paparazzi also should be responsible,” he says.
