Baahubali 2 cleared for China release
The film has finally been cleared for a China release after months in the waiting.
E Stars Media, which had previously handled the release of Baahubali: The Beginning in Chine, will now take care of the release of Baahubali: The Conclusion as well.
The film has finally been cleared for a China release after months in the waiting. Other Indian films such as Secret Superstar and Bajrangi Bhaijaan released in the meantime to a huge response and will be followed by the Irrfan Khan-starrer Hindi Medium soon.
Producer Shobu Yarlagadda of the Bahubali series was initially trying to release the film in China last September. Shobu had problems getting enough shows for Baahubali: The Beginning as a result of which they managed only seven crores at the box office then. “We hope to do better because Baahubali 2 talks about the mother son relationship,” he told us earlier.
The S. S. Rajamouli directed film starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati and Ramya Krishnan which is a few hundred crores behind the worldwide collections of Dangal which stands at over Rs 1,900 crore is on the way to beat it soon if the film manages to draw in the crowds.
