Mumbai: Vijay Sethupathi, who got an appreciation for his role in Super Deluxe on a global level, will reportedly be a part of Aamir Khan's next and most anticipated film, Laal Singh Chaddha.
As per the latest buzz, the 'Vikram Vedha' star and Aamir would join hands for Lal Singh Chaddha, which is a Hindi remake of Hollywood flick, Forrest Gump. Aamir will be reprising the iconic role of Tom Hanks but the reports are also stating that Vijay Sethupathi is said to be playing the role of his friend.
In the original, Tom Hanks' friend character (known as Benjamin Buford 'Bubba' Blue) was played by Mykelti Williamson. Reportedly, makers are trying to tweak the script to make Vijay Sethupathi's character, a Tamilian. An official confirmation about the same is yet to be out.
Meanwhile, Lal Singh Chaddha is helmed by director Advait Chandan, who directed Zaira Wasim starrer 'Secret Superstar'.
