Nushrat Bharucha’s reel life turns positive

For actress Nushrat Bharucha her reel life is soon going to turn more colourful. The Pyaar Ka Punchnama and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety actress has come out of her grey shade and negative image for the first time.

The actress is on cloud nine, as she will be playing a proper heroine in the upcoming film Turram Khan. “Of course, I am happy I am playing a positive character for the first time. I am not playing a villain or a negative role in Turram Khan. My character is that of a simple small-town girl,” says the actress who was last seen in a negative role in the 100 crore hit Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety.

So, is she Turram Khan? “No. That’s Rajkummar Rao,” she confirms. When asked about her experience of working with Rao, Nushrat terms it as interesting. “I enjoyed working with Rao. It is very enriching to work with an actor like him. He is an amazing and I am having an absolute blast working with him and the team,” says the actress who has reunited with Rao after working with him in her debut film Love Sex Aur Dhokha after eight long years. Director Hansal Mehta is helming Turram Khan.
