Parineeti negotiates 'the deal' with Nick Jonas for his wedding with Priyanka Chopra

Mumbai: Since the time Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have made their engagement official on social media, the fans are getting super excited about their future wedding. Priyanka and Nick stopped all rumours and speculations about their relationship on Saturday, after the traditional roka ceremony amid close friends and family.

Soon after the beautiful ceremony, a curious fan took to social media to ask PeeCee's cousin and Bollywood star Parineeti Chopra a quirky question! The fan wanted to know whether she would steal her brother-in-law's shoes on their wedding day; to which the actress responded affirmatively. “Will Parineeti steal Nick Jonas’ shoes? #paisedojootelo,” a fan asked Parineeti on Twitter.

“OF COURSEE!!! Already started negotiating my deal with him. And she’s my witness @priyankachopra,” the 'Kill Dill' actress wrote in a tweet. Looks like Nick is not going to get spared by his sister-in-laws.

The ‘joota churai’ is a tradition during Indian wedding where the bride’s sisters steal the groom’s shoes before for the wedding ceremony. They later demand money in return for his shoes. Well, it looks like Nick is going to have tough time dealing with all his mischievous sister-in-laws.

Parineeti had all nice things to say about Priyanka’s fiance. Her post for Priyanka and Nick on the day of their engagement was truly heartfelt. “Today I witnessed magic and a fairytale … When we were kids, mimi didi and I used to play “ghar ghar”. We would pretend to be shy brides, have imaginary children, and serve tea to our husbands! 🙈🙈 cheesy, but its because we always believed in the magic of love and hoped we would both find that perfect man for us one day!! Today there was no pretending. I cant think of a more a perfect man for her. Like I said this morning, there are two ways of judging a human being. One – travel with them, and two, eat with them. Nick, I have done both with you. And so I know you’re perfect for her!! Love her, because she loves you like mad! Protect her, because shes strong, but a soft soul inside. I love you both and wish you all the happiness forever!!!!! HAPPY ROKA AND FUTURE WEDDING!!" she wrote.

While there is no official confirmation yet, the couple is likely to get married in October.

After the roka ceremony, Priyanka took her fiancé and his parents Kevin and Denise to visit the St. Catherine Orphanage in Mumbai and her old home. The American singer later left for the US with his family on Monday morning.
